The coffee cups project is an experiment. A one off exploration into how everyday waste can be reimagined through design.
Our core collection is made using recycled PLA and PETG. These materials are selected for their durability, performance, and ability to be recycled at the end of their life.
Each object is designed with longevity and recyclability in mind, reducing waste through better design rather than short term solutions.
Lifetime Warranty & Product Stewardship
Special Studio products are design to last. We want to assure our customers have confidence in the quality of products.
If a product breaks under normal use or is damaged in transit, we will replace the product free of charge as long as the material is returned. That material will be recycled into some new, restoring value and reducing waste.
Return & Reuse Programme
If you happen to finish using your object, you can return it and receive a credit toward any new Special Studio purchase. Returned objects are either resold or recycled into new products, depending on their condition.
Due to the nature of current 3D printing technology, small imperfections are inevitable. Some pieces are not suitable to be recycled, yet too good to be crushed or discarded.
To avoid wasting perfectly usable material, we offer these blemished but structurally sound objects at special prices as part of our Seconds collection..
How it Works
Proof of purchase required. Applies to any product purchased in store or online, through us or one of our stockists.
To make a return for credit, please contact us at hello@specialstudio.co along with some photos of the product, and we will send a confirmation email along with our return address.
